We can offer pre-plating polishing to ensure that the base material is suitable for plating. A number of plating processes will highlight and surface finish defects and so these must be removed prior to plating.
We can offer post-plating polishing for and enhanced surface finish most commonly this is performed after bright and hard chroming.
Typical Applications:
Pre-plating polishing is used to provide a uniform surface finish prior to plating. It is often used in car restoration work.
Post- plating polishing is undertaken when an enhanced surface finish is required either for an improved appearance or to reduce friction and eliminate marking.
